Workday HCM / Payroll Lead

Summary: The HRIS Lead’s responsibilities include processing employee data including overseeing inbound and outbound integrations to and from external HR providers. Will also provide leadership in producing HR-related reports and ensuring compliance with relevant local and national regulations. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with databases and HR software including Payroll Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, and HR Call Center Systems.

HRIS and HR Operations Lead – Required Skills – Must-Haves

• 5 or more years work experience as an HRIS Lead with working knowledge supporting Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Performance, Recruiting, and/or Learning modules
• Knowledge of Employment laws and IRS regulations around Health, Welfare, and Retirement Plans.
• Understanding of data protection regulations
• Experience with Workday or similarly complex HRIS/ERP systems is strongly desired
• Familiarity with payroll systems and ADP
• BS in Human Resources Management, Information Technology or related field/experience
• Certification in Workday HCM Modules preferred
• ServiceNow experience a plus

HRIS and HR Operations Lead – Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of HR Information Systems.
• Oversee the processing of employee data (Active and Retiree) in the HCM system and integrations to/from external providers.
• Collect necessary data for EEO-1 reporting.
• Oversee support of Audit, Compliance, and Utility Regulated activity for HR.
• Design manuals and document data processing procedures.
• Generate ad-hoc reports (e.g. turnover, hiring costs, benefits, etc.)
• Collaborate with IT staff to perform regular tests and upgrades to the HRIS
• Ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations
• Research vendors and implement new integrations as needed
• Ability to analyze HR data and provide recommendations and decisions.
